How did I get here?  After 12 years of dealing with Ulcerative colitis, it got to the point where my colon was so diseased, with a rectum mass and pre cancer cell growth findings from my last scope that it would be best to have it all removed. It would leave me with a permitment ileostomy, but I will have no more colon inflammation pains, loose stoll, crazy drugs and those side affects. It will give me back my quitly of life that I haven’t had in years. 🙂 and I will be “cured” of my Ulcerative Colitis, can’t have the disease if it’s not there!

I had a total Proctocolectomy, AbdominoPerineal Resection surgery.
In English, I had surgery to have my colon,appendix,rectum/anal removed. I now have a permitment ileostomy, and a “GI Joe Butt” aka “Barbie butt”.
